Dr. Sukanthy Bream

Dr. Sukanthy Bream, a distinguished graduate of the University of Waterloo’s prestigious Optometry program in 2009, also holds an Honours Degree in Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Genetic Engineering from McMaster University. She maintained a place in the Dean’s Honours list throughout her four-year undergraduate program and collaborated with several scientists as a Research Candidate.

Dr. Bream received comprehensive training in the treatment and management of ocular pathology, focusing on glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and visual therapy. She also devotes time and expertise to address Child Visual Developmental issues.

To offer more specialized tests, Dr. Bream launched her private practice at Eyetelligence, situated in the Markham McNicoll Medical Center. The center boasts the latest advancements in eye care technology. Dr. Bream’s unwavering conviction in early detection and prevention of eye diseases inspired her to integrate various pre-screening equipment into her new practice for the benefit of her patients.

Dr. Bream advocates for annual eye exams for all ages, with a particular emphasis on children, as early diagnosis can potentially cure or prevent vision problems. As an ambassador for the “Eye See Eye Learn” program, she regularly delivers presentations on eye care awareness in the community on a voluntary basis.

Committed to charity, she actively participates in missions providing optometric care to the underprivileged and needy. In partnership with Eyetelligence Inc., Dr. Bream generously donates a portion of her earnings to support orphans worldwide.

In her leisure time, Dr. Sukanthy is an avid reader and enjoys travelling with her family whenever possible.

Dr. Lillian Won

Dr. Lillian Won completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in 2008, graduating on the Dean’s Honours List.  She is experienced and fully trained in spectacle therapy, contact lenses, and therapeutic pharmacological agents to manage ocular disease, binocular vision and refractive problems in all ages.  She loves being in a profession where she can spend time with her patients and give thorough care and education for their visual needs and eye health.

Dr. Graham O'Brien

Dr. Graham O’Brien graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University), earning his Doctor of Optometry degree with Honors. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph.

Dr. O’Brien has a keen interest in managing and treating ocular diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. Moreover, he is deeply interested in the emerging myopia control technologies, aiming to manage the growing prevalence of myopia effectively. He is devoted to ensuring the best visual and eye health outcomes for children.

Dr. O’Brien is a staunch advocate for annual comprehensive eye exams, emphasizing early detection of ocular health issues so they can be addressed before vision problems arise. He is fervent about preventative eye health and takes pleasure in spending time with his patients to thoroughly explain their conditions.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. O’Brien enjoys biking trails and pursuing his interest in photography.
